Hello Sean, LL>> * A Russian agent who calls himself a Republican SD> You don't really believe that garbage do you? https://endtimesand2019.wordpress.com/2019/02... of-fake-news/ I'll let the author of the cited page spell it out for you. Read the entire article, as he really does spell it all out. Then ask yourself if he is more correct that not. Most folks are more intelligent than the news media give them credit for. Given all the facts, most people are fair-minded and figure out what is really going on. SD> The US has been meddling in elections all over the world for quite a while. SD> Turnabout is fair play and it'd not surprise me that the Russians, Chinese, SD> Norks, who-have-you were all in on trying to sway the election. It is established fact Russians meddled in our elections. But it is even more than that. It was an attack on democracy, not just our elections. Russia has also been active doing the same in France, Germany, and elsewhere. AFAIK, the US has never acted in this way towards any country. Although there are other things the US has done of which none of us should be proud of. SD> I mean, after all, Putin is saber-rattling with another Cuban missle crisis SD> already. The former Soviet Union was a poor country. The leaders of that poor state did lots of saber-rattling. Including one of those leaders (Kruschev) who gave Fidel Castro some nukes to play with. Fortunately, we had JFK who was able to convince the Soviets to remove them. Russia is a poor country. The leader of that poor state does a lot of saber-rattling. And sometimes more. Such as invading part of Georgia. And illegally annexing part of Ukraine. Fortunately, we had Obama who was able to convince the Russkies that sanctions are not fun. SD> I don't think that the Russkies were really in on any of this in any SD> significant part. Trump's campaign manager certainly was in leagues with them. SD> Now the Democrats^H^H^H^H^HSocialists^H^H^H^H^HCommunists here in the US? I SD> think they were heavy-handed in trying to toss the election Hillary's way. Hillary Clinton was an exceptionally weak candidate. Had a helluva time winning the Democratic nomination, just barely surviving a hard challenge from a self-described socialist running as a Democrat. LL>> * A Socialist wannabe who calls himself a Democrat SD> Isn't that most of them these days? Not at all. FDR was all over the ideological map. Nobody knew where he was coming from, or where he was going, during his day. It was up to a real socialist, Norman Thomas, who showed Americans what every president should do or should be doing. In fact, he wanted the gig himself ... SD> I mean I can remember when a Democrat and a Republican (both capital letters SD> here) could agree to disagree. Ronald Reagan and Tip O'Neil got on great together. But only after 5 p.m., preferably at an Irish pub ... LL>> Would make everybody wish they could vote for Hillary Clinton, LL>> who says she would *love* to be president. SD> I saw a meme this President's Day on Facebook that showed a picture of SD> Hillary speaking at an outside podium and Bill leaning in. Someone had put SD> a caption on Bill saying "Happy Presidents' Day, love." Hillary's caption? SD> "Fuck off, Bill." After her days (or nights) with Bill Clinton, Gennifer Flowers moved to New Orleans and did a show in the French Quarter. Unlike that other woman (who Clinton claims he did not have sex with), there was never denying what they did together. The Clintons have talked a lot about their marriage, and how proud they are for having stayed together all these years. But when Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas, the two of them briefly separated. No reason(s) given. Then Bill Clinton announced he was running for president and the two of them were back together again. What the Clintons do in their bedroom is up to them. Maybe Hillary lets Bill do whatever he likes, with whoever he likes. Maybe Bill lets Hillary do whatever she likes, with whoever she likes. Maybe the both of them get together with others and everybody does whatever they like, with whoever they like. If a president is doing a good job, then why should anybody care what he/she does in their own bedroom? Should that be an issue? Why, or why not? Suppose we had an openly gay president. There is one running for the Democratic nomination. Just think how much fun it would be watching him debate Donald Trump on national tv ... --Lee -- Sleep With Someone New --- MesNews/1.08.05.00-gb * Origin: news://eljaco.se (2:203/2) |
