If driving, you can get a NEXUS card (looks like a driver's license; meant for those who go over the border often) or use a passport, but you are required to have one or the other. You cannot go into Canada without one. From: https://tinyurl.com/y8epch74 "Entry into Canada: Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card, or NEXUS card satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens." My previous employer, who is based out of Quebec City, Quebec, paid for a passport for me and I had to study up on US and Canadian laws regarding border crossings. Unfortunately, I never did get to go to Quebec during my employment there but I am considering visiting Nick Andre up in Toronto in the early fall later this year. Toronto's about a 13 hour drive from here which isn't bad. Later, Sean ___ MultiMail/Win v0.51 --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Outpost BBS - bbs.outpostbbs.net (1:18/200) |
