Everything ought to be free.  That is what everybody believes.
Not just Democrats.  Of course, it is always better when others
pay for stuff rather than having to pay for it yourself.  But
really.  We all want the same thing.

You have to spend money to make money.  Preferably other people's
money.  That is how to make it in this world.  If you had to spend
your own money you would never have enough to get what you want.
You do understand how that works.

The business of business is business.  In order to remain in
business, business must make a profit.  Otherwise, that business
will no longer be in business.  Government is not a business.
The business of government is to provide goods and services to
the people.  Why?  Because government is the people.

When those who are elected to serve in government use their
positions to further enrich themselves, they are not doing the
jobs they were elected/appointed to do.  We own them, not the
other way around.

The current POTUS is using his position to further enrich
himself.  So are many members of Congress (both Democrats and
Republicans).  Even though this is unconstitutional, they all
still do it.

If there were no Democrats around, only Republicans would be
doing it.  If there were no Republicans around, only Democrats
would be doing it.  But human nature being what it is, every
politician does it, regardless of party affiliation.

What we need to do is get rid of money.  That's right.
Money is the root of all evils.  We must learn how to live
in a Star Trek world.  A world devoid of money, so that
no politician can get greedy.  Even the greediest politician
would not be able to get his/her hands on money because
there would be no money to be had.  See how that works?

This would force everybody to share.  Free college tuition.
Free healthcare.  Free food.  Free housing.  You name it.

Since everything will be free, there would no longer be
any need for political parties.  Just as the Framers of the
Constitution intended.  Go ahead.  Read the US Constitution.
No mention is made of political parties.

Since everything will be free, there also would be no need
for banks.  Why save money when there is no money to be had?
Nobody saves money anyway, as most people spend it as soon
as they get it.  And no need for credit cards, either.  No
money means no credit.  Just grab what you need and use it.

Louisiana has a free college tuition program known as TOPS.
It is very popular.  Georgia also has a free college tuition
program.  Why limit such wonderful free college tuition
programs to two states?  Much better to let everybody go
to school for free, everywhere in the USA.

The return on this investment is astronomical.  By having
a more educated workforce, business and industry would have
the best people in the world working for them - all of them
born in the USA.  The taxes these people pay throughout
their working days pays many times more for the free schooling
they get.

Of course those who receive free schooling pay for it.
Many times over through the taxes they pay.  Having better
jobs due to having a quality education means higher pay.
Higher pay means paying more taxes.  Most people do not

That's good news.  New York will finally join the ranks of Louisiana
and Georgia.  You should be proud of your governor for having the balls

Illegal immigrants are deported.  Dreamers get to stay, at least
for now.  But they aren't residents of New York.  So I find your

Cuomo just beat the pants off his opposition, winning another
term in office.  His party also did nicely in the last election.

The TOPS program is the most popular program Louisiana has ever
enacted.  Been on the books for decades.

Andrew Cuomo could use this legislation to launch his own bid
for the White House.  But I think he has something else in mind.
If his candidate wins, he will be appointed to a position in the
new administration, ready to take his turn after she retires.

New Orleans is very different from the rest of Louisiana.
That is why the only governor of Louisiana from New Orleans
was the inept Dave Treen.  Remember the governor on the TV
sitcom "Benson"?  That was Dave Treen.

NYC has burroughs.  Louisiana has parishes.  New Orleans
is both a parish and a city.

The Louisiana Purchase did not include the city of New Orleans.
Read the document.  The French has sold New Orleans to Spain before
the US bought Louisiana from France.  Spain never sold New Orleans
to the US, but left when too many Americans flooded the city.
Technically, one could say that New Orleans is a separate entity,
not really part of Louisiana, or the USA.

The electoral college votes in NY are based on popular votes
throughout the entire state, not just one particular area.

Nationally, if the electoral votes were based on how many counties
went for one candidate versus another candidate, rather than votes,
Trump would have won in a landslide.  But the fact of the matter
is Clinton beat the pants off of him by almost 3 million votes
nationally.

of natural death.  How many people are truly pro-life based
