Thank you.  I've been in here since around 2000 or so.  This used to be 
much more active but many have left Fidonet.  I do keep in touch with a 
few people from this echo but they have no desire to return.  So when 
the opportunity came up to keep this echo going, I took it over and so 
far the investment has proven to be a good one.

This echo has a history of being rather wild at times but I prefer to 
let it be self-moderating and I should only step in as a last resort.  
Politics is an emotional issue and there's no way around it.

I'm glad you're here also.
