Hello Aaron,

at> Both of these ladies are claiming native heritage, which they both
probably

nobody

at> I would never visit a country that does not protect its borders.

Up until the GWB administration Americans could travel to and from
the US and Mexico without a passport, and children could travel
without any kind of documentation whatsoever. Mexicans could also
travel to and fro, many of them working in the USA and living in
Mexico.

El Paso has always been a safe city. For both Americans and
Mexicans. No high crime or anything even approaching criminal
activity by Mexicans. No wall was necessary. And yet we are
told that El Paso was, and is, a most dangerous place. What
more lies will we be told so that The Orange One can get his
own way?

Do you see Trump pontificating about needing a wall to protect
this country from Canadians? No money in that endeavor. Can't
buy forest land as cheap as desert land. And besides, nobody
in their right mind would want to move to the Frozen North in
the middle of winter.

Passports are a fairly new invention. Up until the early
part of the 20th century, people just went wherever they wanted
whenever they wanted, with nothing more than the clothes on
their backs being all they really needed.

Most Irish immigrants to the USA got here by crossing the
border between Canada and the USA. No papers needed, just
finding a place to cross. Usually open terrain.

This will all pass soon enough. 22 months left until
the presidential election. And then another 2 months for
the current resident to pack his bags.
