Hey Nancy! NB> but it can help one keep a good face on things I'll take your word on it, but speaking for myself I'd much rather it was the normal temps for this time of year even if it meant rain ... and more rain ... and even more rain ... etc. ad nauseam. Now that it is March I am hoping to hear the official synopsis for Febuary and if indeed it was an alltime record. We still have some of the evidence of the unusual snow. Offhand I am guessing we'll get word on Monday. NB> Things have changed over the years... I've noticed. NB> Hopefully you did escape the winds.... We ended up getting a couple hours of it but managed to escape any serious damage. One of my exterior wireless antennas bit the dust but lucky for the neighbours that I have a backup. NB> It's still pretty cold here, though today has warmed up some Exactly the same here. However the nighttime lows are still hovering below zero C and expected to stay that way until next week. Nobody is sticking their neck out to predict normal temps beyond that but there has been much hope expressed. Life is good, Maurice ... Cybertoasts of note: 2020-01-01 is 305 days from now and falls on a Wednesday. 2024-11-05 is 2075 days from now and falls on a Tuesday. --- GNU bash, version 5.0.2(1)-release (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu) * Origin: Little Mikey's EuroPoint - Ladysmith BC, Canada (2:280/464.113) |
