Hello Martin, On 27.04.19, you wrote to All: MF> When the message editor fires up, it's always in a maximized window MF> which, for me, is far too big. So, I resize the window to suit my taste MF> and compose my message(s). I exit the message editor and sometime later I MF> fire it up again but my previous window settings have not been remembered MF> - it fires up maximized! MF> Anyone else seeing this behaviour? YES. Totally annoying (but I guess one *could* get used to it). Meanwhile, try this hack: [1] - Enter the keyboard combination Alt+Space Bar to open the system menu. - Type the letter "r" (this will reduce the size of the window that is apparently defined in the program, but you will probably want a larger window than that, so.. [2] - Enter the keyboard combination Alt+Space Bar to open the system menu. - Type the letter ôsö - A double-headed "cross" pointer will appear. - To make the window larger/smaller, use the left/right and up/down arrow keys to resize the window to your liking. - Press ôEnterö when done resizing. With repeated use, we *may* get used to doing [1] and [2] fairly quickly. Nevertheless, this one is a definite CON for "the List". Hope this helps! ../|ug --- WinPoint Beta 5 (359.1) * Origin: Reluctantly Revisiting Fidonet (2:221/1.59) |
