lo Martin! On 4/20/2019, Martin Foster wrote to August Abolins: AA>> .. Apoint won't launch the external editor (plain ol' AA>> notepad.exe in my case) either. I tried adding the usual %1 arg, AA>> but that didn't make any difference. Then, click "Edit" in MF> the menubar and then click "Open in external editor" and ..... MF> Bingo! :-) YES. This is working now. I had to remove the old %1 arg from "notepad.exe %1" to just to "notepad.exe", and voila! ..er, in this case.. hurra! I don't think I would have noticed the extra step to select "E)dit" and then "Open with exT)ernal" in the original reply window. Calling an editor within the original editor is a bit weird. Did you notice that while you are busy in the external editor, there is yet another window underneath: - Diese Nachricht wird im externen Editor bearbeitet. - Startbefehl: "H:\Apoint\notepad.exe H:\Apoint\APoint1.msg" Your persistence paid off! Thank you. ../|ug --- APoint 1.25 * Origin: This space of 55 characters is available for some text (2:221/1.59) |
