Hello August! OK, if the echoname is the same, in either feed, then WinPoint dumps AA> it in just the first one in your side panel? Yes, that's correct. AA> What do you have for Extras/Options/Tosser/Dupes? Wouldn't that deal AA> with it? I have "Toss to DUPES" but they're not dupes because they've been picked up from three different BossNodes. AA> But I guess you *want* a kind of redundancy: some of the same echos from AA> more than one Boss? MAN.. you are one super uber user. Yeah, it's what's known as a "belt and braces" approach ;-)) AA> But.. how can Winpoint be configured to be multi-point? If you are AA> 2:250/1.1 with 2:250/1, how can you be a completely different point with AA> another Boss? ..or am I missing something. You're missing something :-)) There are three stages to configuring this: Stage 1 ------- - Extras/Options/Uplinks Tab. - Click the Add button at the right-hand side in the Systems pane. - Enter all the relevant information in each of the four Tabs(you probably won't need to bother with the Fileliste Tab?). - Once you've done all that, click the OK button. You should now see a new "Mailbox" in the Systems pane. Stage 2 ------- - Click the Add button at the right-hand side of the Fidostyle Uplinks pane, which brings up the New Uplink Wizard. - Click the Weiter button but be aware, everything's in German. - Enter the relevant information on the page and then click the Weiter button which takes you to the next page. NOTE: there are four pages in total and on the first three pages, you can go back to the previous page by clicking the Zuruck button but on the fourth page there's NO GOING BACK! - When you get to the fourth page, click the Schliessen button. You should now see a new entry in the Fidostyle Uplinks pane. Stage 3 ------- - Make sure the new Uplink is highlighted in the Fidostyle Uplinks pane and click the Properties button. - On the Allgemeines Tab, click the down-arrow in the Mailbox field and click the new Mailbox you configured in Stage 1. - Check the settings on all the Tabs and edit any that may need changing. Job done! :-) Regards, Martin --- OpenXP 5.0.36 * Origin: Bitz-Box - Bradford - UK (2:310/31.3) |
