August Abolins | Martin Foster | Winpoint: wanting multiple BossNodes and separate echo folders |

Hello Martin, MF> Instead of creating separate echomail folder trees for each BossNode, MF> WinPoint dumps mail into each respective area folder in my one and only MF> echomail folder tree(2:250/1). In other words, after polling each MF> BossNode in turn, I have three copies of each message in each respective MF> area folder in my echomail folder tree. MF> However, I know from past experience that if I'm linked into *different* MF> areas at each BossNode, WinPoint *does* create a separate echomail tree MF> for each BossNode. OH! OK, if the echoname is the same, in either feed, then WinPoint dumps it in just the first one in your side panel? What do you have for Extras/Options/Tosser/Dupes? Wouldn't that deal with it? But I guess you *want* a kind of redundancy: some of the same echos from more than one Boss? MAN.. you are one super uber user. But.. how can Winpoint be configured to be multi-point? If you are 2:250/1.1 with 2:250/1, how can you be a completely different point with another Boss? ..or am I missing something. ../|ug --- WinPoint Beta 5 (359.1) * Origin: Reluctantly Revisiting Fidonet (2:221/1.58) |
