Here's a recipe from a 1952 Jell-O dessert
http://www.tias.com/vintage-ad-1952-jell-o-ge...
332406.html

Fiesta Peach Mold

1 package Strawberry Jell-O
1 cup hot water
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon grated rind [recipe doesn't say what kind - lemon?] 1 cup peach
juice and water
1 cup canned sliced cling peaches

Juicy cling peaches all aglow in shining Strawberry Jell-O! Oh, lady, is this a
dish to set before *your* king!

Jell-O's true fruit flavors mingle merrily with most any fruit...taste
wonderful all by themselves!

Dissolve Jell-O in hot water. Then add lemon juice, rind, and peach juice and
water. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in peaches. Turn into 1 1/2-pint
mold. Chill until firm. Unmold. Garnish with whipped cream, and additional
sliced peaches. Server 4 or 5.

Email recipes@tias.com if you have a vintage recipe you'd like to share or if
you're looking for a recipe!
