Actress Carrie Fisher, who will forever be known for playing Princess Leia
Organa in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, has died, family spokesman Simon
Halls has confirmed to ABC News.

She was 60 years old.

"It is with deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother
Carrie Fisher passed away at 855 this morning," Halls said in a statement.
"She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly."


... RIP Carrie Fisher - always in our hearts and minds.
