Saw Stephen King's IT on opening night a week or more ago. Enjoyed it! (no pun intended) Have had several people ask me, "does it do justice to the orginal?" To which I've replied, "YES! Very much so! It really gives you the feel of the book!" I've had a few people say, "no, the original movie" (talking about the mini series in 1990 or so. :-) ...
