The US5 are not the only ones that do this. Watching a lot of British shows here in the US has taught me they are really bad about it over there. BBS America (ok so that may be ours! <g> seems to drop shows I get interested in like hot potatoes. Some are dropped by BBC proper while others are just dropped in the US. The BBC proper must do it, too, because it is not PBS that has cancelled some of my favorites over the recent years. I also hate it when they kill my favorite characters off. SciFi is bad about that and, from what you said about DCI Banks, I am afraid I may be unhappy with the coming season when it reaches PBS. Mike ...
