I always get a bit nervous during the winter. I remember watching game 1 of 
the 1988 series against the A's with my late grandfather. I lived in Grover 
City (now Grover Beach) near Pismo Beach then and was visiting my 
grandparents in Tulare, a mere 9 miles from where I am now in Visalia.

I would like to see them win a few more championships and it burns me that 
the Giants have done it three times in five years. However, my grandfather 
would be very happy - he was a Giant's fan.
