JM> Once I got over to Main Street things were fine.

Yeah, the right street always helps.... <G>

JM> He forgot to remove his name when he took down the numbers. :)

Ah.. I thought that might have been what you were saying... :)

Perhaps you should have hinted a bit broader that you could be persuaded
to stay longer....?

 JM> Several days passed.
JM> I was in East Texas or western Louisiana and called a friend to say

JM> Then noticed I had missed a call from James so called him back.

Sounds like Karin was sorry not to have had the chance to see you,
too... And might not have minded if the stay had stretched a day or
so... :)

JM> When I was in Syracuse I was shown the Destiny Mall. (I'm not a
JM> mall person but did enjoy it).

I don't think I've been in there since it was renamed Destiny, but I've
heard that it's become quite a destination...

JM> The first guy swiped this way and that, pushed this and that button,

 JM> Nothing.
JM> He swiped this way and that, pushed buttons and still nothing.
JM> He called over another clerk who did the same thing.
 JM> Nothing.
JM> He just handed the phone back to me saying I would have either data
JM> or wifi on all the time, thanked me and walked away.
JM> (I pay for data and wifi not always available).
JM> So, I guess that's just another feature of that phone. :)

There seem to be quite a few "features" of that phone that I'd not at
all like to have... another reason for me not to get a smartphone,
particularly not that one... :)

JM> Oh, and it take a day before a text arrives and often get a
JM> undeliverable message when I send one.

How unhelpful.... the reason for having a phone being communication...
