I do NOT do well in the heat...came close to fatal heatstroke a few times over the years Years ago I was working a basketball game. I had been inside for some time but this night it was zero out (with a -20 wind chill, which the weatherman said it was) and for some reason no outside guys showed up to work. Volunteers were called for and no on I on a forlorn lot at one gate and another fella at the other gate about a half block away. We were not dressed for cold weather: no long johns or other layers, boots, etc. We were for a few hours and nearly froze to death. I made an oath, similar to Scarlet O'Hara who after eating rotten carrots to never go hungry again, that I would never again complain about the heat. Over 25 years later I have kept to that oath. About When I got home I jumped into a hot bathtub and my toes were blue. At the next game I told this to other fella I was working with. He was a very dark complexioned black guy who said his were too. I asked how could he tell and said to trust him, they were.
