Joe, JM> Power is slowly being restored and he should be back home around Tuesday. JM> Insurance approved part of his claim but he has nearly $1,000 in food and JM>lodging he has to pay for. I did get home July 2, but the electrician was originally given the wrong size internal panel (it and the outside meter had to be replaced). But, power was back on that night. As noted in previous messages, the insurance companies consider it a catastrophe if they have to pay a claim. But, they considered the house still "livable", since it had running water, and there was no other damage. I want to know how one can consider being inside a structure with apparent temperatures above 100 degrees as "livable".
