you were using my system for a while but the lastread pointer problem was too
annoying... you went to doc's then but i thought you were still using t-bird
from there...

i've got a whole different BBS setup now, thanks to hurricane florence last
year... it is a lot different and doesn't have that lastread pointer problem...
 plus it is an all-in-one setup instead of being lotsa pieces cobbled together
like my last one was...

i've got an account set up for you but i forget if i've emailed the details to
you... you can use t-bird to pull messages as news like you were doing, or you
can use a web browser and the web interface, or even log into the BBS via a
terminal program like syncterm or netrunner... if you log in, you can do
messages live or download/upload QWK packets if you still do them...
