I don't mind heat.
I absolutely hate cold weather.
And I don't use a/c in the car. Its open windows for me.
The only time the a/c was ever on in either car was when I picked it up.
As soon as I got in it went off and the windows went down.

Palm trees aren't really native to CA, at least around LA.
They are more of a desert plant.

I think repair and tyre shops are in cohorts with the state.

I was on state route 59, which merged along with several other highways
on the beltway or whatever.
Texas is really good with signage and painted in the centre of the lane
was whatever route it was. Just stay in that lane, unless you're like me
and manage to get into a line of traffic going elsewhere...

Yep, it was right alongside the road I was on.
I was told to take it to a tyre place, have it repaired with the bill
sent to Enterprise.
It was from a nail I picked up at the border. Texas has a lot of
unpaved side roads and I had parked under a tree on one.
