The old-fashioned fold-em-up paper maps don't fly around the car or out
the window...  ;)  And can be folded carefully to be open to the place
where your trip is happening....

For specific directions at the end of a day's leg of the trip, I might
have that written out separately, especially for a new area...

True in most cases... often criss-crossing underneath/over the
interstate.... but sometimes parts do get lost....

I guess you waited too long to check them out... prices just keep going
up.... ;)  If it's something you've /really/ wanted to see, though, it
might be worth the entrance fee.... :)  There might be senior citizen
discounts for some of them, too...
