The 95, 98, and 2000 domiciles > were rather small...XP, 7, and 8, were real nice. Vista was "upside > down". <G> Other than 3.1 (I was still a DOS man then) and 8, I've been with Windows since 95. I've never had a problem with any of them. When I upgraded, other than 10, it was when the pc was the shop for something (usually something I did to cause the problem) and the wizards there installed it, usually free, along with a copy of a back up install disk. When I installed 10 (free upgrade from MS) I thought "This won't take long" but it was hours while the PC churned away downloading, installing, rebooting, etc. Joe --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Fido Since 1991 | QWK by Web | BBS.FIDOSYSOP.ORG (1:123/140) |
