Hello Jeff! 13 Oct 18 15:25, you wrote to Vince: JS> I am attempting to install MBSE on a Linux Mint PC. The user mbse JS> already exists on the PC as does the /home/mbse directory. When JS> running "sudo bash SETUP.sh" I get the following: JS> "Press ENTER to start the basic checks JS> *** User 'mbse' already exists on this system *** JS> *** SETUP aborted ***" JS> It is easier to previously create the user and then install MBSE but JS> the MBSE installer aborts if it sees a preexisting user/home JS> directory. Is there an option to force MBSE to install to the existing JS> home directory? There currently is not an option for this. It is theoretically possible to modify SETUP.sh to do this, but it is not recommended. SETUP.sh is designed to create the MBSE users (mbse & bbs) with the appropriate permissions and group memberships that allow them to perform their respective functions without issues.
