It is an interesting idea and I have heard it floated before. I am just a user
of MBSE though and not a developer so.. :)

When I need these sort of things I use one of those two.

A starting place would be needed, is there a proposal that we could use as
a starting point. It would need to be usable across BBS and/or mailer types
wouldn't it?

An interesting idea but it seems complicated to me.

I guess torrent files could be made available on the BBS instead of the
actual file, as long as they are seeded.
