CROATIA, 9A.  Peter, GW4UWD will be QRV as 9A/GW4UWD/p from Zlarin Island, IOTA
 EU-170, from August 27 to September 2.  Activity will be on the HF bands using
 only SSB.  QSL to home call.

WEST MALAYSIA, 9M2.  Special event station 9M29SEAKL is QRV until August 29
during the context of the 29th SEA GAMES 2017 being held in Kuala Lumpur.  QSL
via bureau.

TAIWAN, BV.  Special event station BV0FISU is QRV until August 30 to draw
attention to the 29th Summer Universiade sporting event being held in Taipei.

FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY, DA.  Stefan, DF8HS will be QRV from two different
locations on Fehmarn from August 28 to September 14.  QSL to home call.

SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, E5.  Doug, W6HB will be QRV as E51DLD from August 27 to
September 8.  Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using only SSB.  QSL to home
 call.

ESTONIA, ES.  Members of the Russian Lighthouse Society are QRV as ES/RX3AMI
until August 31 from IOTAs EU-034, EU-149, and EU-178. QSL via RX3AMI.

REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HL.  Han, DS2GOO will be QRV as DS2GOO/4 from Pogil Island,
IOTA AS-085, from August 26 to 28.  Activity will be on 40 to 6 meters using
CW, SSB and various digital modes.  QSL to home call.

JAPAN, JA.  Members of the Tokyo Bay Ham Club are QRV with special event call
sign 8J1ZIU until the May of 2018 to celebrate the club's 40th anniversary.

ALASKA, KL7.  Mikhail, VE7ACN is QRV as NL6/AA7CH from Kayak Island, IOTA
NA-157, until August 28.  Activity is on 160 to 10 meters using CW and SSB.

CORSICA, TK.  Frans, DJ0TP is QRV as TK/DJ0TP until September 8. QSL to home

MICRONESIA, V6.  Toshi, JA6REX will be QRV as V63KS from Chuuk Island, IOTA
OC-011, from August 28 to September 3.  Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters
using CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL to home call.

VIET NAM, XV.  William, WA7WJR will be QRV as XV9WJR from August 26 to
September 17.  Activity will be from various locations, and QRV mainly on 40
and 20 meters using primarily CW.  QSL direct to home call.

INDONESIA, YB.  Champ, E21EIC is QRV as YB2/KY1A until August 26 from the
Borobudur Central Java Amateur Radio Fair.  QSL to E21EIC.

VANUATU, YJ.  Bert, CX3AN will be QRV as YJ0CX from Efate Island, IOTA OC-035,
from August 27 to September 3.  Activity will be on the HF bands using CW and
SSB.  QSL to home call.  In addition, Tony, KQ2I will be QRV as YJ0AT from
Efate Island, IOTA OC-035, from August 28 to September 13.  Activity will be on
 40 to 10 meters using only CW.  QSL via NR6M.

U. K. SOVEREIGN BASE AREAS ON CYPRUS, ZC4.  Adrian, G0KOM has renewed his
license and is active as ZC4MK for the next 12 months. Activity will be on the
HF bands.  QSL to home call.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The QRP 20-Meter CW Fox Hunt, NCCC RTTY Sprint,
NCCC Sprint Ladder, Hawaii QSO Party, ALARA Contest, YO DX HF Contest, SCC RTTY
 Championship, W/VE Islands QSO Party, Kansas QSO Party, Ohio QSO Party, CVA
SSB DX Contest, 50 MHz Fall Sprint and the SARL HF CW Contest are all on tap
for this upcoming weekend.

The Phone Fray and CWops Mini-CWT Test are scheduled for August 30.
