In a message on Monday 12-11-16 Mike Powell said to Holger Granholm: > HG> This is really sad news, since Radio Australia has been an excellent > HG> propagation beacon, for checking radio conditions to the Pacific area, > HG> on the 9-, 12-, 15- and 18-MHz bands. MP> That is sad news. I have not had a SW-capable radio in a while but, I have never let go of my SW-capable radios, even though I very seldom listen to SW-broadcasts today. I've got three NordMende "luggable" radios with bandspread SW-bands, for BC-bands in the type 'Globetrotter' and Ham-bands in 'Globetraveler Pro' The second of the 'Globetraveler Pro' was inherited from a local ham.
