Just relaying the sad news (from Bill McGarrity):

Hello all!

It is with deepest regret to inform that one of out fellow Synchronet SysOps
has passed away yesterday due to his long battle with lung cancer.  Please join
me in sending his family and friends our heartfelt condolences.

RIP Joe..(1944 - 2017)
