There's a number of options in use in Australia, including the multi tap helical, which can be made to cover all bands from 80 or 160 to 10 or 6m. You do have to pull over to change bands though (reposition a banana plug to the appropriate tap). The screwdriver is a popular choice, remotely tuned, covers all HF bands, and a 9' stainless whip with a tuner is another option. There's also commercial designs for RFDS and 4WD club use that can also work on the ham bands. ...
