Tommorow I will focus on netmail also checking wiki. Do you have an FTN address assigned yet? If you do, then you configure that address in SCFG->Networks->FidoNet->Address. If you have chosen a FidoNet mailer and have it installed and configured, then simply using the (E)mail -> (N)etmail menu option from the BBS (terminal server), you should be able to send a netmail message to your hub (e.g. "sysop@your-hubs-FTN-address" and ask for confirmation of receipt. If that works, then you can ask if your hub supports remote Area manager (aka AreaFix) requests, agree on a password to use for AreaFix and start sending those requests via NetMail, e.g. To: areafix@your-hubs-FTN-address Subj: <your-areafix-password> Body: %HELP You should get an automated reply message telling you the available areafix messages (e.g. %LIST, %+ALL, etc.) and you can send more requests to add/remove echo areas using the supported areafix commands. digital man Synchronet "Real Fact" #23: The third ever Synchronet BBS was The Beast's Domain (sysop: King Drafus).
