Hi all, this isn't necessarily just for Synchronet SysOps but it seemed like the most appropriate message board given the options. I've been playing around with some older hardware including an Apple IIc, some dos based PDAs and a TRS-80 model 100. I like to try to get these things connected to BBSs but with the Apple II and especially the model 100 a lot of the BBS door games available aren't really playable without ansi support, at least cursor positioning if not color. My board does have one that I can play over the model 100: Oregon Trail but I'd like to open up a section filled with games that can be played on non-ansi compliant terminal emulators. Text adventures seem like an obvious choice but I tried playing some under the "Dos Games" section of Battlestar BBS and ansi was required there as well. I also tried a MUD and needed ansi for that as well. I'm trying to compile a list of door games that can be played without ansi any ideas? --- ■ Synchronet ■ MutinyBBS.com port 2332 * Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (1:103/705) |
