Do you have 10 or more programs available? If so, then hitting '1', the input function will need to wait and see if you are then going to hit '0' (for 10) or hit enter (for 1). If you hit '2', but you have less than 20 programs, then it's smart enough to know it doesn't need to wait for '0' or enter.
